Senior Accountant Reporting, Budgeting and Controlling
Function Description
Will be part of the finance team
Will be responsible for the Benelux, Spain and the UK.
Reports to the CFO
Tasks and responsibilities
Management and Analyses of the General Ledger
Develops financial reports for financial analysis, forecasting, trending, and results analysis.
The developed reports need to be ‘automated’.
In co-operation with the senior accountant responsible for the tax returns, enquetes, vat-returns,
intrastate, (info workers council) and communication with auditors
Communication with Headquarters
Preparation and follow up of the budgeting on co-operation with the CFO
Back-up of the accounting department
Management of audits
Single point of contact for insurance and leasing company.
Responsible for SOX compliancy (internal quality checks)
Responsible for US GAAP reporting (in close relation with Headquarters)
Management and updating of accounting and control procedures
In co-operation with senior accountant responsible for the financial IT infrastructure and improvements
Perform other duties as assigned
Skills
You have a university degree or Applied Economic Sciences
You have at least 5 years experience in external audit
You are native Dutch and have a good knowledge of French, English and Spanish
You are Analytical
You are Accurate
You like to learn
You are a good communicator
You have a good knowledge of MS Office
Experience with Oracle, Cognos and Navision is a plus
Willing to travel
