Introduction

Due to our continued growth Dedigate is looking to expand its Sales team with a Sales Account Manager. He or she will work independently, shall report directly to the Sales Director and will be supported by (technical and general) team members.

Primary goal

The Sales Account Manager is primarily responsible for contributing to Dedigate’s revenue through the development of business with prospects, customers, and partners. This being so, the monetary reward is (partially) proportional to the personal success of the Sales Account Manager.

Responsibilities

To accomplish the primary goal the Sales Account Manager is responsible for the sales cycles (from lead spotting until contract closure) and as such will have the following responsibilities.

New Business

To extend our market reach, the Sales Account Manager will:
Find and approach suitable prospects,
Translate our services’ properties into value add and differentiation messages,
Independently manage the sales cycle as a whole and
Autonomously win new customer contracts.

Account Management

Once prospects have become Dedigate’s client, the Sales Account Manager will:

Maintain meaningful relationships with any client assigned to him/her,
Look for opportunities and independently manage subsequent sales cycles,
Autonomously win those contracts, and
Manage contract renewals in cooperation with other Dedigate teams.

Partner (Sales) Management

As channel sales forms an integral part of Dedigate’s success the Sales Account Manager will:  

Find suitable potential partners,
Establish and foster the relationship with potential partners, and
Manage joint sales cycles (specifically: assist partners to successfully sell combined services).

General responsibilities

In addition to the above responsibilities, the Sales Account Manager will: 

Develop and maintain thorough knowledge about the market, our company and our services,
Consistantly
meet or (exceed) the monthly activity goals and revenue goals,
Work with Presales and Sales Support to design winning solutions and documents,
Track (as well as report on) activities and sales forecasts using supplied tools (e.g. CRM).

Perform any other incidental task related to the efforts of Dedigate’s Sales team. 
The Sales Account Manager independently leads requirement gathering / bidding processes ranging from the evaluation of RFP documents, the production of winning commercial documents, and the closing of contracts.

Professional capabilities


In specific the Sales Account Manager is able to independently lead meetings and teleconferences regarding business and functional requirements, contract (renewal) negotiations and any other topic in relation to his/her sales cycles. 

The Sales Account Manager will maximise his/her efficiency by developing and implementing customer/partner-specific sales plans. These will include establishing and meeting business (revenue) goals. 

The Sales Account Manager is proficient in Dutch and English, has a drivers licence and (in view of the confidentiality of the activities carried out by Dedigate) is of unspoken behaviour.

Personal profile

The Sales Account Manager is a professional ‘two-way’ communicator; he/she is able to clearly convey convincing messages and is a proficient listener. He/she thus is able to level with our relations’ senior management and technical management, as well as with internal Sales team colleagues and members of other Dedigate entities. 
Although able to work independently, the Sales Account Manager is able to coordinate activities with other Sales team members and other Dedigate teams. A ‘team player spirit’ is hence required. 
He/she has 2-5 years of relevant experience and is experienced in the Telecom or IT sector. 

To remain successful in our fast changing business environment, the Sales Account Manager by nature is eager to learn. Affinity with selling technical solutions is required. 

It goes without saying that in this challenging commercial position a result-driven personality is indispensable.
